Sort It Home Organising | Empowering Play: Organsised Spaces
Tackling the toy clutter doesn’t have to be a battle! I adopt a team approach and gentle selection process. The ultimate goal: independence for the child and peace for the parent.
I work alongside you and your children to gently transform their play areas into functional, clutter-free zones.
My process goes beyond just tidying.
My process begins with a strategic and gentle edit of their toy collection to ensure that what remains is genuinely loved, age appropriate, intact and ready for play.
By setting up a realistic and sustainable organising system - “a place for everything” I empower your children to take ownership of their space.
The result? Empowering your children to maintain the space themselves and finally an ending the cycle of constant mess.
Figurines & Small Toys
I implement clear, drawer based or bin based systems for small multi-piece toys (cars, dolls, action figures). This method limits visual clutter and makes tidy up time fast and intuitive.
Dress Up & Costumes
I set up a fun, accessible imaginative Play Zone using hooks, rods or easy to manage baskets. Costumes are kept off the floor, encouraging independent play and easy storage for quick changes.

Books
I create a sustainable literacy station by organising books by size, subject or reading level. Low, forward facing shelves and cosy seating transform clutter into an inviting, calm reading space.

Building Blocks
I sort all construction toys (LEGOs, wooden blocks, magnetic tiles) into contained, labeled systems. This ensures easy clean up and keeps all pieces together, allowing for focussed and creative building.

Arts & Craft's
I design a dedicated creatity station, organising supplies by type (markers, paint, paper). Using portable caddies and clear containers. I make access simple for children and contain the mess for parents.

Games & Puzzles
I consolidate and verify all game pieces and puzzle counts. Utilising slim cases or zip bags, I elimate bulky boxes, saving significant space and preventing frustrating missing piece chaos.
